Praise you Lord, for your wonderful Creation!
You alone are the Creator. You are all powerful and majestic and beyond our comprehension.
We live today in a world that largely does not worship you. But since the creation of the world your invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by observing the creation that you made, even your eternal power and Godhead, so that unbelievers are without excuse, because, they do not glorify You as God, nor are thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts have been darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools.
Praise you Lord because just as the heavens were testimony for Paul in the first century that your wrath against all manners of ungodliness was obvious to the unbelievers of his day, so too are the scoffers, atheists and agnostics of our day without excuse. All they have to do is look skyward and observe the obvious reality that we are creatures and that there is a divine creator should be obvious to them.
Keep our worship on you oh Lord, and let us not worship your creation rather than you! Keep us from all manner of idolatry that worships the creature instead of the Creator. We may no longer worship animals or statues, but forgive us and keep us from other forms of idolatry like materialism, lust, greed, or even being just self-absorbed.
Job said, how should man be just with God who commands the sun, and the stars and who alone spreads out the heavens?
We will seek you, as Amos said, you who make the seven stars and constellation Orion, and who turns the shadow of death into the morning. The LORD is your name.
Praise you Lord for you are unchanging and faithful from generation to generation. You are the same yesterday, today and forever.
Dear Lord, let us always remember that for you a thousand years is as a day. When we are impatient, when our sanctification takes longer than we’d like, when our trials continue it seems beyond the limits of our endurance, when we are told to believe we are in the last days, let us always remember that we see—it’s the very same sky that Job looked at while covered with sores 4000 years ago. It’s the very same sky, the very same constellations and they haven’t changed. Let us remember that your timing is mysterious and beyond our comprehension. If our trials last a lifetime or only till the next dawn or if Christ returns tomorrow or not for another 10,000 years, let us remember that you have decreed it so.
Praise you Lord for just as God had a hidden purpose for Job in his trials, so too do you have hidden purposes for us, and even for me, when we go through trials today. You have decreed it.
Let us say as Job also said, we know that our Redeemer lives and he will preserve us until the final day.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Maranatha, come Lord Jesus.
And all the people said, AMEN

“Know that Jehova, He is God,
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” Ps. 100:3
