A few years ago I gave my apologetics seminar entitled “Battle of over the Bible” in McKinney, Texas at Christ Fellowship.  There are approximately 5 hours of the Seminar on 7 videos.

However, the video of the seminar in McKinney was posted to Vimeo and not YouTube.

As a result, I thought it would be useful for anyone interested in watching these videos,  to have access to this videos directly from my blog here at http://www.randybroberg.com.

So here are the links to “Battle Over the Bible – an attorney takes on the Jesus seminar”.  Just click the ins.

HOW WE GOT OUR BIBLE

In my Bibliology class for the Maranatha Bible College, I covered issues relating to our beliefs about the Bible in 14 two-hour lectures. Two Tuesdays ago, I covered it all in 1 hour. In addition, I shared several quotes from the false gospels that are very revealing. See attached slides above.

Here are the slides for the lesson on the controversial topic of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a/k/a the Second Blessing.  Distinctions are made between the “Pentecostal” position and the “Charismatic” position, both of which are Continuationist.  The Cessationist view will be addressed later.

For fellow Maranathans, you are invited to attend my class tonight on English translations–how to pick one, how to use it, and everything else you might want to know about your Bible. Which are literal and which are paraphrases? Liberal or conservative?  Also, you’ll find out what reading grade your Bible was edited for in a practice I call the dumbing down of the Bible.. This class tonight is part of the Bible College class on Why We Believe the Bible, but I feel this topic tonight has broad appeal so I am opening up the class to everyone. We meet from 7 to 9 in Room 208.  The same class is also made available tomorrow afternoon in room 208 from 3 to 5 pm.
