It has been too long since I last posted. We finished the Colossians class. I went to Israel (pics posted on Facebook). I am scheduled to preach at Maranatha’s Saturday July 13 evening service and both services Sunday morning, July 14. My tentative topic is “why hasn’t God healed me?”. I’m a bit unsure because this topic is extremely transparent. Tell me what your reaction to that topic is.

Randy, it’s a very good topic because it can relate to anyone of us. Healing starts with the “mind” and moves on from there. With GOD, All Things are Possible………. and with Him, the healing begins. Jan

God can heal Parkinson’s disease if He wills because we believe in a God of miracles; but in some cases it brings Him more glory to see one cope through Christ with an infirmity like Paul had as a thorn in the flesh that God wouldn’t heal. Helen Keller thanked God for her handicaps because through them she found herself, her work, and her God. “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose.” It may be a bigger miracle to cope with the disease and accept it and rise above it than to just be healed. I recall Joni Earikson-Tada who is paralyzed from a diving accident and went to many so-called healers before accepting her disability.
