As you may know, I will be teaching “The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit” for the Maranatha Bible College beginning Tuesday, September 6 and for 14 weeks thereafter.
This course will be an in-depth study of the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. We will examine the Holy Spirit’s role in providing us with the Bible and how God still speaks even today. We will explore the role of the Holy Spirit in our salvation through the new birth and in our perseverance through his indwelling, sealing and assurance. We will learn what the Bible teaches us about the Holy Spirit’s guidance in our lives and about spiritual gifts. Finally, we will review the effect of the Holy Spirit in our fruit and also the sins against the Holy Spirit. We will discover many opportunities to apply the truths we learn to our everyday lives.
I believe this topic is both timely and fundamental. Consequently, to make the class as available as possible, I will be repeating the Tuesday classes on Thursdays at Maranatha Chapel
Thus the identical course is offered twice: Tuesdays from 3 to 5 pm and Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm. To register, just show up for the first class on either Tuesday afternoon or Thursday evening.
